A colleague recommended verion 5, although I downloaded the trial of version 6 as a starting point. Very useful tool for diagnosing POST messages over https. Couldn\'t get it to work with my application under Windows 7 64 bit, although it worked for the application under Windows XP.

I just want to capture HTTPs message and this is the best product so far i have downloaded from internet

Just started to use HTTP analyser Hello, just started to use it to analyze HTTPS traffic. At present I liked this product, but is there a possibility to use it in Mozilla FireFox browser?Have a nice day,Ernestas Gruodis

Thank-you! Thanks! I am a programmer, and I've been looking for a while for an HTTP Packet Sniffer that lets me see the "post data" both in a Grid view, and in a raw text view. I've needed that so I can verify that the software I'm writing is sending the correct data out to a server. This is the only one I've found that does this, and that's perfect for my needs. The naming of the notepad tabs are a little unintuitive, and so finding your way around isn't immediate, but its doable. Other then that, it works perfectly as ...

A handy application Dear Folks,The tool was of real help me in my work. Deciphering interaction happening between my machine and the server somewhere else in the form of POST and GET requests is of real help. The best thing about your product is the HTTPS support that you provide. From other sniffing S/Ws, i couldn't get this support. Thanks a lot for being of help in my work. All the best to the team working on HTTP Analyzer. And yeah thanks a lot.Regards,Neeraj!

The IE HTTP Analyzer is a good tool for tracking down any problems related to HTTP communication including headers, cookies and so on.It provides a lot information about the HTTP(S) communication going on, being a valuable tool for web developers. The problem is that a lot of equivalent tools are available for free for Firefox, so you only need this tool when you want to trackdown problems related to Internet Explorer and not HTTP communication in general.

IE HTTP Analyzer- Simple and Useful I was evaluating some Java based web frameworks and was madly looking for some 'easy to use sort of tool' for measuring the response data size for the pages rendered. Came across IE HTTP Analyzer, It's amazing.I would say, it is easy to use, simple and feature rich. Great work guys!!!

Excellent HTTP monitoring tool Hi there!IEWatch is the best tool for monitoring HTTP traffic I've ever worked. I used to work with FireBug extension for Firefox before, but it hasn't the POST data content for SSL connections. Also, saving the log to XML is a very clever feature. In my organization I don't make decisions whether to buy concrete development tools or not, but I would recommend this tool for everyone, who need good HTTP sniffer or analyzer.

Really good but I didn't search that...

just verrrrry gooooood...to keep a watch on your kids

the Analyzed did exactly what I needed, worked great on Vista

Works as advertised. Quite helpful in figuring what websites are causing network problems with fake av.

At first the product was not very intuitive to use but I got my head round it ok. It seemed to do what I wanted but not to the level I feel is necessary. It only scrambled the content of index.dat, it did not remove it! Therefore the file size remained at 320kb instead of the zero I was looking for. I could also still make out parts of the content visually therefore it was not 100% effective. It also could have done with picking up other .dat files like NTuser.dat.

It was good, but we really wanted to be able to restore the index.dat files that had been deleted but couldn\'t find the restore button that the fix had indicated we would need.

HiWorked greatThanksED

HTTP Sniffer did not display any results. I wanted to use it on Windows 7 (64-bit) together with IE 8 to inspect POST request data. Deinstalled it and used the primitive old ieHttpHeaders addon.

Hey Qarchive,I found your http sniffer very handy.I m a java developer and I am interested in building a similar application like yours but i doubt if its possible to do it with java . Can you please shed some light on how to make an app like yours using Java ? Any help from you will be deeply appreciated . Thanks in Advance.Rahul

I simply needed an HTTP Header Sniffer to view headers including cookies to/from Firefox, IE and/or WinInit. For this task, HTTP Sniffer was useless.I found similar product, Komodia\'s SSL Sniffer, that did almost exactly as I needed. I could view the headers, but could not copy them for use in my programming. Even still, Komodia got the job done.

Some additional functionality I was like the program. I think here can be some functionality to show not only separate parts of packet, but all complete packet with hierarchy of separate parts. Thanks!Sergey

I did not used it, at the moment. I did not used it, at the moment.

Worked great for me I had a one-time need to watch the traffic originating from by browser. This product delivered the goods! I have no idea how well it works compared to others, and I'm not using it every day, but it sure helped me out in a bind. I recommend it. If I were using it a lot, I would like a double-click option to see the data for a request. Saving to a file and opening it to view the message contents would get tiresome.
